This is the debut album by Claire Jones, who has been appointed the official Royal Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales. On it she performs a varied reprtoire, from Ravel's "Pavane" and Handel's "Prelude" and "Toccata" to the melody from Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" and Fats Waller's 'Ain't Misbehavin', accompanied by an orchestra, jazz band and percussion. 

Since her as Royal harpist appointment in June 2007, Claire Jones has performed for His Royal Highness on a number of occasions at prestigious venues such as Clarence House, Cardiff Castle, and Dumphries House, Scotland. She was recently invited by Maestro Gergiev to join the Mariinsky Theatre Ballet Orchestra as guest artist for a concert at Windsor Castle in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses. Claire performed as soloist at the opening gala of the European Harp Symposium at the Millennium Centre Cardiff, where she also appeared alongside predecessors Catrin Finch and Jemima Phillips for the performance of a piece written especially by Karl Jenkins. Other notable solo performances include her debut at the opening Ceremony of Llangollen International Eisteddfod, Bryn Terfel's Faenol Festival in association with Live Music Now, and Cambridge Music Festival. 

Highlights of 2008 include her appearance with the English Chamber Orchestra in the premier performance of the Lazarus Requiem by Classic FM Composer in Residence Patrick Hawes at Cadogan Hall, London, and also recitals at Plaxtol Music Festival, Howden Music Festival to name a few. Claire will be making appearances in support of her chosen Charities - The Prince's Trust, The Prince's Foundation for the Arts and Children, Wellbeing of Women, and will also be conducting harp workshops in schools throughout the country.
